feel like you belong

Connections

Being connected with family and friends helps you feel like you belong and people with strong social support are usually happier, have better mental health and stronger sense of belonging.

 I learnt that when someone is alone or isolated people often have poor health it shows that not having social relationships can shorten life as much as smoking 100 cigarettes per week. 

When you have a new job it sometimes takes up all your time and have no time for you to have fun with your family and friends.

I learnt that VOLUNTEERING is another way to get connected in your community. 

We all need people in are life during good times and during tough times especially during Covid lockdown.
